Leading Pharmaceutical Equipment manufacturer and our premier client over a decade approached us for design of a masking fixture to protect certain areas during spray treatment process. The conventional masking using a masking tape which is time consuming to be replaced by a quick fitment and release fixture.
Case study
A quick fit and release masking design was developed in order to meet the pressure due to glass beading process and air tight mechanism provided was to avoid ingress of the glass bead particles. Suitable quick accessible locking design was made for quick fit. Masking fixture and supporting assembly was fabricated using 3D printing and the same tested under actual application to verify the performance.
